This & That at The Mill offers quality instruction in a wide variety of craft areas. Our classes are perfect for children in the homeschooling community, or who are involved in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, or 4H. Instructors work with parents/leaders to create classes specific to curriculum, scout badge expectations and 4H project guidelines. Class cost varies, $8- $20 (pp).
Class Options Include:
Level 1: Learn how to use the machine and complete a simple project (pillow case).
Level 2: Learn how to read and use a pattern, pick out fabric and notions, and complete a simple project (lounge pants).
Level 1: Learn to use a needle and thread, sew on a button and sew a simple shape (bookmark).
Level 2: Learn basic decorative stitches and complete a simple project (keychain).
Level 1: Use a variety of materials to complete a canvas.
Level 2: Learn specific types of mixed media techniques, create an art journal.
Level 1: Follow instructor directions to complete a set of cards using paper and embellishments.
Level 2: Use a variety of papercrafting techniques to create an original set of cards.
Level 1: Follow instructor directions to complete a layout or small album.
Level 2: Use paper and embellishments to design a layout or small album.
Level 1: Learn the basics; complete a simple project (bookmark, coaster).
Level 2: Learn to read a beginner pattern, pick out yarn, and complete a project.
